It's light enough to wear immediately, but this dress could also be winterized and toughened up a little with opaque tights, boots, and a leather jacket. Here's a few more picks:
You could get at least a few more weeks of wear out of this little eyelet jacket and ruffled chiffon blouse, depending on your climate. The halter jumpsuit in the center? Although I've generally been anti-jumpsuit and romper in the past, this one appeals to me for some reason. I do like the first dress! But like you said, there are only a few more weeks for these outfits before fall hits. I need to do some serious shopping for some nice outfits. I plan on going to the Lord & Taylor near my house and working on my fall wardrobe =)
