Marimekko For H&M

H&M's next special collaboration is straight outta Helsinki - Finnish textile and design firm Marimekko, best known for their vivid prints, is creating that a collection that will be available in stores in April 2008.
Here is some background on the label, which was popular in the sixties and seventies. The brand had fallen on some hard times in the past few years, but they have a new CEO and seem to be undergoing a revival, and hopefully the H&M project will introduce the label to new customers.
