Structure Is Back (thank god)

“The baby-doll dress is dead,” Sarah Easley, an owner of Kirna Zabête, the directional SoHo store, said with no small degree of satisfaction. “The designer customer is looking for a little more tailoring.”

This piece in today's New York Times makes me very, very happy. Vive la tailoring!

Seriously, though, don't you just feel better (read: more elegant, more chic, even sexier) in something with waist definition that does not hang like a sack?

Yes! I couldn't agree with you more.

Trends that don't look good on most people are generally not a good investment.
